Willow House Care Home

Willow House Care Home, located in the charming coastal town of Cellardyke, Fife, provides a warm and welcoming environment for up to 40 residents. With spacious rooms, including three designed for couples, the home specialises in personalised nursing and end-of-life care, tailored to each resident’s individual needs.

Willow House is dedicated to creating a supportive and comfortable atmosphere where residents feel valued, cared for, and truly at home. Nestled in the scenic East Neuk, the home is close to local shops, community services, and transport links. Its peaceful surroundings include a large garden and easy access to Anstruther’s picturesque harbour and amenities, making it a beautiful and tranquil setting.

Comfortable Living with Thoughtful Touches

Willow House features a large garden and a spacious activity room, perfect for events such as the home’s recent open-day art show. Residents can unwind in two large lounges, one on the ground floor with direct garden access, and the other on the top floor offering lovely coastal views.

Additional amenities include an on-site hairdressing salon with regular visits from the hairdresser and a beautifully set dining room, offering residents a restaurant-style experience. With its prime location near the harbour, Willow House also allows residents to enjoy strolls along the coast, indulge in local fish and chips, or explore attractions like St Andrews, just a short drive away.

Activities and Dining

Life at Willow House is enriched by a vibrant programme of activities designed to foster connection and joy. From therapy dog visits and bus trips to aquariums and castles to gardening classes with local schoolchildren, there’s always something to look forward to. Regular coffee afternoons provide a chance for residents and their families to come together, strengthening the sense of community.

Meals at Willow House are freshly prepared every day, with seasonal menus created in consultation with residents. The home grows its own fruits, vegetables, and herbs, ensuring that every dish is fresh, nutritious, and full of flavour. Dietary needs are always catered for with care and attention, making mealtimes a highlight for all.

What Families Say About Us

Daughter of a resident

My mother has been in Willow House since August, and from day one, she settled in surprisingly well. The staff are always welcoming, and the care home manager has been very supportive during a difficult time. This is a great care home, and the staff work incredibly hard.
