Spring Blooms At Three Towns Care Home As Residents Showcase Easter Bonnet Creations

Residents at Three Towns Care Home in Stevenston have been embracing the arrival of Spring in the most colourful way, crafting their own Easter bonnets in a joyful celebration of creativity and community.

Spring Blooms At Three Towns Care Home As Residents Showcase Easter Bonnet Creations

The home was filled with colour, laughter and imagination as residents worked alongside staff to design and decorate their bonnets, featuring everything from bright spring flowers to playful Easter eggs. The finished creations were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a vibrant seasonal display to the home.

Adding to the excitement, photographs of the bonnets will now be entered into a Holmes Care group-wide Easter art competition, with residents eagerly awaiting the results and hoping to bring a win for their home.

The activity not only provided a creative outlet but also encouraged social interaction, reminiscence and a strong sense of achievement among resident, highlighting the importance of meaningful engagement within care settings.

It’s been wonderful to see everyone getting involved and expressing themselves through something so creative. The bonnets are absolutely beautiful and full of personality, just like our residents. Activities like this are so important in bringing people together, sparking memories and creating moments of joy.

One resident added: “I’ve not made an Easter bonnet in years, it’s brought back so many happy memories.”

The success of the Easter bonnet activity is just one example of the engaging and supportive environment fostered within the home, where staff are dedicated to ensuring every resident feels valued, included and inspired each day.
