The latest Care Inspectorate report praised Roselea House's warm and welcoming environment, highlighting the kindness of staff, strong relationships with families and the high standard of care and support provided to residents.

To mark the achievement, residents, relatives and team members enjoyed an afternoon of home baking, refreshments and smiles as they proudly celebrated the positive inspection findings together.

Inspectors noted that people living at Roselea House benefitted from "very good management and leadership" and were cared for by staff who knew them well and treated them with kindness, dignity and respect. Families spoke highly of the care their loved ones received, while inspectors observed a welcoming and homely atmosphere throughout the service.

The report also highlighted the home's person-centred approach to care, strong links with families and the local community, and the commitment of staff to supporting residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Ruth Goodman, Service Manager at Roselea House, said:

"I am incredibly proud of every member of our team. They are truly wonderful, caring people who go above and beyond every day to support our residents and each other."

"What means the most to me is that people genuinely see Roselea House as their home. We work hard to create a place where people feel safe, valued, respected and able to continue living fulfilling lives surrounded by people who care about them. The latest inspection report reflects the dedication, compassion and commitment shown by our team every single day."

Linda Lees, daughter of resident Jean Lees said, “I come in most days to visit my mum, everyone is so helpful and kind. I couldn’t ask for more.”

Tracey Howell, Managing Director of the Holmes Care Group, said:

"Achieving these grades once is an accomplishment, however maintaining them consistently over three consecutive inspections is something the entire team should be extremely proud of. The report recognises not only the quality of care being delivered, but also the warm and welcoming environment that has been created for residents and their families."
