Craigie House Residential Care Home is located in the village of Crossgates, sharing its grounds with Alexander House Nursing Home, both of which are now proudly owned by Holmes Care Group.

This former mansion, with its striking Victorian frontage, was thoughtfully renovated to combine the charm of its period features with modern care and comfort. The result is a home where residents truly feel at ease.

Craigie House can accommodate 30 residents in spacious single-occupancy rooms, the majority of which are equipped with en-suite toilet and shower facilities.

The upper floors of Craigie House are accessible by lift, while the lounges and dining areas are conveniently located on the ground floor, offering easy access to the beautifully landscaped enclosed garden areas. Residents can enjoy the outdoor space, whether they wish to take a stroll or simply relax and enjoy the flowers and fresh air.

Although nestled in the heart of Crossgates, Craigie House benefits from a predominantly rural setting while remaining close to the attractions of nearby towns such as Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.

Residents are invited to participate in a wide range of activities, from regular outings in the home's minibus to local shops, shows, and other places of interest. Inside the home, the Activities Team provides a full programme of activities, including exercise classes, reminiscence sessions, arts and crafts, and games. Live concerts featuring professional entertainers are also a regular highlight at Craigie House, ensuring there is always something to enjoy.

Meet The Manager

Kelly started with the company in 2018 at Preston House and her love for the job grew, she began her SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and made a promise to herself that she would work hard until she could have her own home one day. Kelly was promoted to a Senior Care Assistant after 3 months, and was in this role for 4 years, she was then promoted to Deputy Manager in another sister home and was there for 7 months and applied for the position as Service Manager at Craigie House.

Growing from strength to strength Kelly is now the overall site manager for Craigie House and Alexander House.

Kelly prides herself on supporting her team and working with the to deliver the highest standard of person-centred care.
