Holmes Care Group were delighted to be shortlisted as finalists at the recent Employee Benefits Awards, for the ‘Most Motivational Benefits’ category.
The Awards, in association with Aon Employee Benefits, are now in their 15th year and celebrate the best people, initiatives and benefit strategies from the last 12 months.
The Employee Benefits Awards are highly respected in the market for highlighting best practice and innovation in private and public sector organisations. The 2017 shortlist, decided by a panel of industry experts following a rigorous two-day judging process, formally recognised Holmes Care Group’s ‘Staff Appreciation Week’ initiative.
The initiative implements a well-rounded programme that covers a working week, and includes a number of activities:
- Thank You Notice Board’s, so that staff can write thank you to any of their team members
- Tastecard trial
- Hand written thank you cards, and chocolates from managers to employees
- Afternoon Tea/Coffee /Cakes
- Buffet lunches
- Dress down week
- Pamper sessions
'Staff Appreciation Week’ was introduced by Head of HR, Joanna Rychlik, to demonstrate to employees just how much they are valued. Since its launch, the initiative has become so popular across the Group that employees are continually coming up with new ideas to make each year even more special and rewarding.
