Holmes Care Homes Open Their Doors for Care Home Open Week 2026

Many care homes across the Holmes Care Group are preparing to welcome local communities through their doors as part of Care Home Open Week 2026 from the 15th - 21st June.

Holmes Care Homes Open Their Doors for Care Home Open Week 2026

The national initiative shines a spotlight on the vital role care homes play in supporting older people and encourages members of the public to find out more about modern care home life.

Throughout the week, several Holmes Care homes will be hosting special Tea and Blether fundraising events in support of the group's Charity of the Year, Alzheimer Scotland. Visitors can enjoy home baking, refreshments, activities, raffles, tombolas and, most importantly, a warm welcome from residents and staff.

The events also provide a fantastic opportunity to take a tour of the homes, meet the teams who work there and discover more about the care, support and companionship offered every day.
