What shall we do today?
Meaningful engagement is an important part of our approach to providing the highest standards of care and quality of life to our residents.
Our Activity Coordinators deliver meaningful activities that stimulate residents and improve their well-being. An essential element for any successful activity is to get to know the individual, which is why we encourage residents to keep their minds active by pursuing their own hobbies and interests. We promote the importance of gaining knowledge about a resident’s
life stories and experiences and offer a
wide range of activities to support their individual interests, such as; crafts, quizzes, games, gardening and cookery. Entertainers, musicians, hairdressers, church groups regularly visit the home
and residents can choose to enjoy a wide variety of genres and performances. We also support the local community whenever we can and local schools, groups and clubs are regular visitors to our home.
